Love Your Neighbor 2017

Happy Valentines Day – 2017

Culture.. Eats.. Strategy.. for Lunch”  This was quoted at a manufacturing conference we attended and highlights the importance of culture in an organization.  We can have a great strategy, but will fail if we have a toxic culture.  We can have a flawed strategy, but be very successful with a healthy culture.  As we grow our business we have worked very hard to lay down a foundation and execute a strategy to attract and retain the best People, establish repeatable manufacturing Processes and work procedures, and provide the equipment and tools(Technology) our people need to do their jobs.  We have also been intentional to build a culture that wraps around our strategy.  We believe that when people respect each other and care for each other everything else will be cared for.  Our customers, our vendors, our equipment, and our facilities.  Culture is the “secret sauce” that makes a company the best place to work, the best place to do business with, and creates tremendous value for all.

“Love your Neighbor” is our theme for 2017 and represents an attitude that supports a culture of respect for each other, care for each other and performance as a team at a high standard.  It is easier to do a better job and enjoy the work we do when we are doing it for and with a friend. As we enter our fourth year it is our goal to build upon this culture and make Texas Injection Molding a place where we can enjoy working hard to give our best to our customers and to each other.

What a perfect way to promote our theme than to celebrate Valentines Day.  Thank you to our HR Team for providing every employee a fresh carnation and conversation heart that emphasizes the benefits of loving one another.

1 Thessalonians 3:12 – may the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all men, just as we also do for you; so that He may establish your hearts un-blamable in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our lord Jesus with all His saints.

Texas Injection Molding Adds Warehouse Space

Setting up racks in 10,000 sq. ft. Warehouse

To accommodate growth during the past 3 years we are adding 10,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space. This space will provide much needed room to enhance manufacturing efficiency and improve service to our customers.  Most of the raw materials and packaging will be re-located to the new facility freeing up space for improved mold storage, finished goods, overall manufacturing logistics and organization.  We are excited about the improvements this will make to our overall operation. We expect the move to be complete by the end of February 2017.

Texas Injection Molding Uses BobCAD-CAM Software

Recent BobCAD-CAM article features Texas Injection Molding.  Exerpt. . . .They also run a HURCO VMX50S with a 15k rpm spindle which is one of the machines they use BobCAD-CAM to program parts with. Prior to BobCAD-CAM software, they needed the ability to do 3D surfacing which is almost impossible without a CAD-CAM product. “With the wide range of work we do in the shop we rely on the program being integrated as CAD and CAM in one, low-cost and great customer service”, says Keown.” – Read more
